Monday 16th

I have been fighting a losing battle against a terrible cold and cough. Today since it was a rather quiet day Henry was going to do the main walk and give me the day off.

This weekend I also washed my cell phone in the washing machine so I was totally and completely disconnected from the world! OMG you don’t realize how much you rely on technology!!!! I don’t even own a watch I use my cell phone! Oye

We started out the day with our last visit with Remi and Hazel but unfortunately Remi had gotten himself into some trouble and we had to make a run to the vet to get him looked at and get him on some antibiotics.

He hung out with me for the rest of the day until his dads got back from their vacation, Hazel went home to sleep and have a girls afternoon.

The group walk included Riley, Sweet Pea, Bobby, Oscar, Tony and Gizmo. Since it was just Henry they went to Riverdale park down by Riley so they could mix and mingle with other dogs in the park plus run and wrestle the day away.

In the afternoon I had a last minute walk with Seamus so Belle, Seamus and I headed for Sherwood for our walk while Henry took Remi and Oscar home.

When I was back from Sherwood I took Remi home and met up with his dads to give them the boo boo run down. He’s on the mend and hopefully will be all good.

Off to bed talk to everyone tomorrow.

Tuesday 17th

Today I ended up doing the majority of the walks while Henry had an appointment.... busy day!

I decided to split the group into two and went to Winston Churchill with the first group including Sweet Pea, Bobby, Chloe, Tony and Jax. We had a great time, it was nice to have a small herd rather than a big pack. We did lots of fetching and running.

Next I went to visit with Sydney for her pee break. What a sweet heart!!!

While I was out with the group Henry met up with Riley for a stroll at the Brickworks then separately with Pepper down in the ravine.

Finally Belle, Casey, Riley, Seamus and I headed to Sunnybrook. We played with the other dogs in the park and ran down the trails jumping in the mud and causing a ruckus.

Finally in the evening Henry took Bogart to the Eglinton Community Center for his evening outing.

Talk to everyone tomorrow.

Wednesday 18th

Today was a crazy busy day we had 2 walks plus a puppy visit plus the kids were here for the day and Chloe stayed overnight.

The group walk included Riley, Sweet Pea, Bobby, Tony, Chloe, Tea Cup, Molly, Belle, Jessy, Missy, Biggie, Sushi, Casey. It was another beautiful November day so we headed to Sunnybrook.

Everyone laughs at us with our pack of tiny dogs then big giant Belle.

As usual we headed straight for the trails so that the dogs can get nice and muddy and wet then have time to dry off before leaving.

Molly, Riley, Chloe, Tea Cup and Tony had a blast chasing each other around, splashing in the water and causing a general ruckus.

Sweet Pea took turns chasing around Chloe, then Molly, then Casey. She even took a dip in the creek!

Bobby was ball crazy and spent most of his time carrying around a tennis ball and playing fetch.

Mr Big strolled for a bit then got a ride complements of me. Sushi kept up with the group running along until Casey would sneak up and T-bone her, she loves to do that to poor Sushi.

Missy strolled along on leash with Henry so she didn’t lag too far behind.

Jessy wasn’t sure about all the crazies but she had a good time exploring everything herself.

Belle swooped through the crowd and kept everyone in line.

When everyone was good and tired we headed out.

Next I stopped in to visit Sydney the puppy then headed home to wait for the arrival of my replacement cell phone while Henry did the drop offs.

Next in the afternoon Henry took Diva for a stroll then I had an evening walk with Bogart, Tea Cup, Belle and Casey.

What a long day, but I’ve got my cell phone back so that makes the world a wonderful place!

Talk to everyone tomorrow.

Thursday 19th

Today is going to be a rainy day but we’ll have fun anyways.

We’ve got the group walk, puppy visit, walk with Diva then an evening walk with a couple pups.

The group walk included Riley, Sweet pea, Bobby, Chloe, Jax, Abby, Tony, Prince, Tea Cup, Jessy, Seamus, Casey.

Everyone had a good time despite the rain.

Belle and Seamus stuck together running around chasing each other and the other dogs in the group.

Abby is not 100% off leash so we do test drops and ensure to give her some space but save us from having to chase her all over the park trying to catch her. She was a good girl today she had a lot of fun.

Chloe, Tony, Riley and Tea Cup ran in circles chasing each other around. They are good at keeping each other moving.

Bobby didn’t have a ball today so he spent his time running between Henry and myself making sure we were ok.

Sweet Pea did her usual “attack on Chloe” I love watching her go crazy and chase Chloe around. It’s so sweet.

Jax is getting the hang of the group walks and is starting to play and interact more with the others.

Jessy stayed on leash, she wasn’t too thrilled to be out in the rain with a bunch of crazed doggies so she stuck with us and enjoyed the fresh air.

Next Henry went to visit Sydney for her afternoon pee break.

The afternoon wrapped up with a walk around the block with Diva then the day ended with a small group walk including Tony, Oscar, Belle and Bogart. It was a terrible night, cold and wet!!! We got our exercise then got the heck out of there.

It was a long wet day, let’s hope tomorrow is better!!!

Friday 20th

The rain has passed and it’s going to be a great day.

We only have the group walk then a stroll with Diva.

The group walk included Riley, Sweet Pea, Tony, Bobby, Chloe, Belle, Pepper, Jax, Jessy and Casey. It was a lovely fall day so we headed to Cherry Beach to do some hard core playing.

We always have a great time at the beach!

Pepper and Bobby always play fetch, Tony and Belle got into the game from time to time when the other 2 would let someone else have the ball.

Sweet Pea chased Casey, Riley, Jax, Chloe and Tony... she is really broadening her horizons.

Jax was so funny today; she jumped into the water and was mixing and mingling with all the dogs. She is really coming out of her shell.

Jessy explored the bushes and trails and had a great time playing with the group.

Once we were good and tired we headed out.

Henry went to visit Sydney for her puppy visit then we closed off the day with a stroll around the block with Diva.

What a great day talk to everyone later.

Lastly this we are thinking and praying for one of our friends Missy (one of the kids) she is sick in and the hospital. Our thoughts are with her family and we're sending her lots of hugs and kisses.

Weekend 21st, 22nd

This weekend was a quiet weekend, Belle went home on Saturday afternoon after hanging at Chateau Monteith for over a week then we just have one stroll with Diva.

Also we are still thinking of Missy, she is doing ok and is comfortable. The hope is that she will be released next week.

Talk to everyone next week.
