Monday 28^th

Walks / Outings

- We had a nice day chilling with Bentley and Patches, Gizmo went home last night, I'm pretty sure he had a blast with us on his holiday
- Belle joined us on our evening outing to the park

Tuesday 29^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Cool and windy

Pack Members: Bobby, Tony, Sydney, Jaida, Chloe, Patches, Bentley and Casey

Highlights:
- Even though it was deathly cold with the wind chill it was fairly nice in the park
- Sydney was on fire! She was running around chasing and wrestling with everyone who crossed her path
- Tony was wearing balloon boots for the first time so it was funny to see him prancing around on tiny orange feet
- Jaida spent a lot of time wrestling with Sydney, she was in prime form today. Little Ms Flirty
- Little girl Chloe also was one of Sydney’s sparing partners but hung out with Casey to try and not get attacked
- Patches is doing so well, he comes when called, plays well with others and is just an all round good kid
- Bentley wasn’t feeling very well today so he hung out and watched everyone play

- Bobby was... well he was Bobby. The exciting part was that he was going for a hair cut after our play session. He’s going to be a handsome man

Other walks

- We got a call to take Riley out for an afternoon play session. We headed down to Cherry Beach where it was FREEZING but we had a great time. He was in fine form and was so super playful it was great to watch him having fun.

Wednesday 30^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Colder then yesterday!

Pack Members: Bobby, Riley, Sydney, Chloe, Patches and Casey

Highlights:
- We’ve been staying close to home this week so it was another day at Sunnybrook. The park is much better this week much less ice!
- Sydney again was on fire! I love to watch her play it is just pure comedy
- Riley was so happy to see his friends. He was attacked by Sydney in the van she gave him a piece of his own medicine
- Everyone loves Chloe, she is so super cute in her little coat, the other dog walkers just eat her up
- It didn’t matter that Bobby had a new hair cut, he still kept getting his ball stolen by the other dogs
- Patches has a twin at the park, I kept calling the wrong dog and almost left with the other one on leash before I realized he was standing beside me wondering what in the world I was doing
- Bentley stayed home today because he was really not feeling well. I ended up taking him to the vet in the afternoon and he is going to be staying for a couple days. Poor little guy

- Little Casey had cold feet towards the end of the outing so she got to snuggle with me for the last little while. I love me little snuggle bug.

Other walks

- We’ve got a final outing with Bobby this evening to take him for a good run before bedtime

Thursday 31^st

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Rainy and rather dismal day

Pack Members: Bobby, Riley, Chloe, Patches, Belle, Tony and Casey

Highlights:
- It’s New Years Eve! We got an early start today so we could get wrapped up in good time
- It was a rather dismal day so everyone was active but not necessarily happy to be out in the elements
- Riley was a bundle of energy again today, he was running around chasing other dogs and having a great time
- Bobby was... well he was ball crazy as usual
- Belle played with some of the bigger dogs in the park and had a good time getting back out and about
- Chloe and Tony stayed close to me, they both played for a bit but were chilly so they didn’t stray too far
- Patches is at the point that he wants to venture out of the off leash park but i’m not going to buy into it, I’m pretty sure he’s going to run off exploring and that is just not a good thing

- Casey was a mamma’s girl wanted to get up and cuddle and get out of the cold

Monday 21^st

Group Walk

Destination: Sherwood
Weather: Cool and sunny

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Tony, Belle, Sydney, Molly, Lola and Casey

Highlights:
- It was still icy at Sherwood, we went into the park off Blythewood and slip and slided until we got into the trees. Once in the off leash area it wasn’t as terrible but it’s still not fantastic
- Everyone had a great time running around chasing each other and behaved themselves which was great

- We had fun and everyone was good and tired when it was time to go home

Tuesday 22^nd

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Ok day, nice weather

Pack Members: Jax, Bobby, Lola, Bobby, Sydney, Chloe, Millie and a new friend Bentley who is staying with us for the holidays

Highlights:
- Casey and Riley stayed home to hang out while we took the others out
- The park was still really icy so we spent our time moving from "island to island" aka grassy spots by the trees
- Chloe and Mille wrestled and played the entire time, they had a blast
- Lola had fun running around chasing dogs from other packs
- Sydney the social butterfly and mixed and mingled with everyone she ran into
- Seamus was pushing the limits by mixing with some of the bigger dogs and trying to mark his territory, we had to make sure he didn’t step over the line but overall he was a good boy

- Bentley had so much fun playing with another bulldog named Georgia (it was her first day too)

Other Walks

- Molly was at the groomer so Riley, Casey and I went to pick her up and went for a stroll around the Avenue and Lawrence area. She looked great with her hair cut but was not happy about the bow

Wednesday 23^rd

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Cold but not too bad

Pack Members: Riley, Bobby, Tony, Belle, Chloe, Sydney, Prince, Bentley and Casey

Highlights:
- Last major walk day before Christmas break
- Again we moved from “island to island” trying to keep everyone moving but safe
- We had a great play date and everyone was good and tired when we wrapped up

- It’s hard to believe that we won’t be seeing everyone for the next couple weeks

Other Walks

- We ended our day with the first of many cat sitting visits over the holidays. We got to hang out with Rusty and Boo for a nice evening visit.

Thursday 24^th

Walks / Outings

- We had one walk with Bobby today
- Good morning and good evening visits with Rusty and Boo
- Good morning visit with George and Petunia two more cat friends
- Gizmo, Bentley, Casey and I headed home for Christmas Eve

Friday 25^th

Walks / Outings

- Good morning and good evening visits with Rusty and Boo
- Good morning visit with George and Petunia
- Gizmo, Bentley, Casey and I headed back to Toronto

Weekend 26^th, 27^th

Walks / Outings

- On Boxing Day a new friend Patches came to visit until after New Years
- More good morning and good evening visits with Rusty and Boo
- More good morning visits with George and Petunia
- Gizmo, Bentley, Casey and I chilled out and enjoyed the weekend
- We took Belle out for a walk while her mommy was working
- Overall it was a nice but busy holiday

Monday 14^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sherwood
Weather: Drizzle, Rain, Cool all round fun

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Tony, Sweet Pea, Belle, Tea Cup, Jaida, Lola and Casey

Highlights:

- Ugh what a wonderful day to be a dog walker ;-) we had fun regardless

- We met a husky named Quinn and everyone had fun playing with him, Lola and Belle liked having a big kid to chase around

- After slipping and sliding around the park we packed up and headed home to dry off

Other Walks

- We went on an evening stroll with Diva, it had stopped raining and it was a fairly nice evening

Tuesday 15^th

Group Walk

Destination:Cherry Beach
Weather: Cool but it was a nice afternoon

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Pepper, Sweet Pea, Sydney, Seamus, Chloe, Millie, Jaida, Lola and Casey

Highlights:
- What a perfect day! And a great group
- Sydney, Chloe, Millie, Jaida and Riley had a blast running and chasing each other
- Sweet Pea and Jax jumped in on the various groups barking, chasing and playing with the others as they run circles around the group

- Lola, Pepper and Bobby chased balls and played fetch

Other Walks

- Bogart, Jaida, Casey and I had a nice stroll around the neighbourhood enjoying the evening

The Passing of a Friend and Pack Member

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the lovely and talented Diva. She passed away this afternoon at the age of 16 years young.

This picture was taken on a beautiful fall afternoon at Sherwood Park where Diva was running and bouncing like a puppy!

She was a fantastic dog and she will be greatly missed. The pack will not be the same without you.

Wednesday 16^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook... for 5 minutes then off to Cherry Beach
Weather: It was a nice sunny day but windy and COLD

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Tony, Sydney, Sweet Pea, Belle, Tea Cup, Jaida, Lola, Chloe, Prince and Casey

Highlights:
- Sunnybrook was a sheet of ice so we pee’d and poo’d then packed up and headed to Cherry Beach to have some real fun
- The pups didn’t feel the wind everyone was running around, chasing each other and enjoying the day
- Riley and Jaida rolled around and wrestled the entire time
- Belle and Lola actually went in the water... are they crazy!!!
- Sweet Pea spent a bunch of time barking at other groups... keep your distance she told them
- Jax has decided to Riley is her arch enemy, she likes to follow him around and bark at him when he’s not paying attention – she’s funny!
- Prince had cold feet so he strolled around with me and watched everyone else run around like crazy people
- Tony, Tea Cup, Chloe and Casey mixed and mingled and had a super fun time

- Sydney made the rounds playing with each dog, she doesn’t play favourites

Thursday 17^th

Group Walk

Destination: Another trek to Cherry Beach
Weather: It was a nice day... if you’re a polar bear

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Sydney, Sweet Pea, Belle, Jaida, Lola, Chloe, Jessy, Seamus and Casey

Highlights:
- No matter how cold it is the kids keep jumping in the lake... are they crazy!!! That would be Lola, Belle, Seamus and Bobby... crazy kids
- Riley, Jaida, Chloe, Sydney had a blast running and wrestling
- Sweet Pea always starts to get into it once it’s time to leave, trying to get everyone hitched up and she’s chasing Chloe around barking like crazy. Silly girl

- Jessy was really chilly so she toddled around and spent time with me keeping warm

Friday 18^th

Group Walk

Destination: Our favourite location... again... Cherry Beach
Weather: It was a really cold day

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Tony, Sydney, Sweet Pea, Belle, Tea Cup, Pepper, Molly, Lola, Chloe and Casey

Highlights:
- Last day of the week, I’m glad it’s almost the weekend
- Nothing out of the ordinary more play play playing and run run running
- Tony and Riley have a great time together and like to cause a ruckus
- Molly went on a bit of a walk about... she didn’t get too far thank goodness – inquiring minds want to know what is on the other side of those bushes!
- Sydney and Molly are a good play match they are almost the same age and both crazy puppies ;-)
- Belle was a bit nutty today so she stuck with me on leash for half the session to keep her in check

- I love hanging at Cherry but hopefully after the holidays the other parks will be less icy so we can start to move around again... variety is the spice of life

- We picked up the kids for weekend slumber party

Weekend 19^th, 20^th

Weekend Walks

- We took it easy this weekend and spent lots of time cuddling with the kids and visiting their kitties for din din
- We had a couple pee breaks with Bobby throughout the weekend, he’s such a card that guy always makes me lough
- We spent some time with Belle taking her out for a pee break
- We had an outing with Gizmo on Sunday afternoon

Monday 7^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook Park
Weather: Chilly temperatures and soft falling snowflakes. Good day!

Pack Members: Riley, Bobby, Tony, Tea Cup, Jax, Jaida, Casey and a new dog to the pack Lola

Highlights:
- Scruffy is staying with us for the week but decided he didn’t want to come out and play today. We let him have a vacation day before starting in on the walks tomorrow
- Lola had a great time running and playing with her new friends
- Jax is really coming out of her shell and loves to torment Riley her look alike nemesis
- Tony, Jaida, Tea Cup and Riley ran back and forth chasing each other, they always have a great time
- Bobby... all he wants to do is play fetch ;-)
- Today the group found a dead rat and really wanted to pay with it but I got to it first PHEW

-After playing on the trails we hung out in the park to dry off then head home

Tuesday 8^th

Group Walk

Destination: Cherry Beach
Weather: Chilly and windy but a great day! The calm before the big storm tomorrow

Pack Members: Riley, Bobby, Sweet Pea, Lola, Seamus, Sydney, Millie, Chloe, Jax, Jaida, Pepper, Scruffy and Casey

Highlights:
- The park was packed today, everyone was out enjoying the day before tomorrow’s big snow / rain storm
- Everyone was super excited today and was busy running and wrestling
- Sydney, Chloe and Millie got along so well they ran ran ran like crazy and had fun chasing each other
- Lola was happy to have some big kids to play with today. She hit it off with Seamus. She also took a dip in the chilly water the first chance she got
- Jaida and Riley were on fire today, they swept around the park running crazy and having a blast
- Scruffy was great today, he went off leash and had a great time. He dug in the sand and explored the surroundings. Good first outing with the group
- Seamus ran circles around everyone growling up a storm. He likes to taunt Riley and get him rolling
- Sweet Pea was happy to see Chloe her favourite playmate, as soon as she saw her the parking and jabbing started
- Jax is my girl! She likes to hang out with me then attack random dogs as they sprint by, good girl!!

- Pepper, well she just barked all day ;-)

- Jaida and I went for an afternoon stroll with Diva and met up with Molly for some playtime before heading home

Wednesday 9^th

Group Walk #1

Destination: Sherwood Park
Weather: RAIN & SNOW YUCK

Pack Members: We broke into 2 groups I had Tea Cup, Bobby, Tony and Sweet Pea and Henry had Chloe, Jax, Lola, and Sydney

Highlights:
- Today sucked, we only stayed out for 30 minutes because everyone was miserable
- Everyone was super excited today and was busy running and wrestling

- Sweet Pea was happy to see Chloe her favourite playmate, as soon as she saw her the parking and jabbing started

Group Walk #2

Destination: Eglinton Community Center
Weather: Wet and Chilly

Pack Members: We took out the “daycare” dogs Riley, Prince, Casey, Scruffy and had Belle and Gizmo join in the fun

Highlights:
- This was wasn’t as terrible as the first walk but it was still VERY wet and cold. At least the kids had fun this time
- There was another group of dogs in the park that we hung out and played with
- Gizmo and Riley played well together

- Belle likes to pick on Prince for some reason not sure why

Other Walks
- Finally I took Diva for an early evening stroll, things had dried up and it was almost a pleasant evening. A couple degrees too cold but it was nice.

Thursday 10^th

Group Walk

Destination: Brickworks
Weather: Windy and chilly

Pack Members: Big group today, Riley, Chloe, Lola, Jax, Pepper, Jaida, Molly, Bobby, Abby, Sweet Pea, Seamus, Sydney, Belle, Scruffy and Casey

Highlights:
- The park was soooo icy today it wasn’t great but we made the best of it
- Sydney was a crazy girl and had a great time mixing and mingling with dogs from other packs
- Molly spent a good part of the outing exploring the park and visiting with other dogs. She is a busy girl!
- Lola has bad hips so I was totally nervous about her playing on the slippery snow, she had a blast regardless of my worries
- When it was time to leave Abby did NOT want to go she was having way too much fun

- The rest of the group was their usual crazy self playing, running, wrestling, and having an all round great time

- For the next couple days we’ve got good morning and good night pee breaks with the lovely Pepper. It’s going to be cool out there tonight.

Friday 11^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Windy and chilly

Pack Members: Riley, Chloe, Jax, Pepper, Bobby, Sweet Pea, Sydney, Belle, Tea Cup, Scruffy, Casey and 2 new friends Tank and Barkley

Highlights:
- Today was another icy day, it was tough to stroll around the park but we made the best of it
- Tank and Barkley were only with us for the day, they were supposed to be staying for the weekend but with the weather their parents had to turn around and come home. They are two cute little doggies and we had fun with them even though it was a short visit

- Everyone had fun playing but were dancing around due to cold feet ;-( it was that kind of day

- We had our daily morning and evening visits with pepper
- Bobby had a second outing with us for an evening pee break

Weekend 12^th, 13^th

Weekend Walks
- We had strolls with Diva on Saturday and Sunday
- Daily play dates with Pepper and morning / evening pee breaks
- Our little friend scruffy went home on Sunday afternoon

Monday 30^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sherwood
Weather: Perfect for November 30th

Pack Members: Riley, Sweet Pea, Bobby, Tony, Prince, Oscar, Jaida, Jax, Casey

Highlights:
- We had a great outing, it was a perfect day at Sherwood
- Riley, Oscar and Jaida were tearing around together
- Prince always has fun keeping the group in check, he is the hall monitor
- Sweet Pea didn’t have Chloe to tease so she focused her energy on Tony

Tuesday 1^st

Group Walk

Destination:Sunnybrook
Weather:Beautiful sun shinny day for December 1st

Pack Members: Riley, Sweet Pea, Bobby, Jaida, Jax, Chloe, Seamus, Pepper, Casey

Highlights:
- What can I say, the month of November went by with only a couple terrible days, we were very lucky
- Everyone had a blast on the trails and playing in the mud

- Lots of chasing, wrestling and playing, we’ve got a very active group

- We had an afternoon stroll with Diva
- Henry took Belle out for an evening walk
- I had a dinnertime stroll with a new dog Paco, he was really funny and got along well with the other dogs at the park

Wednesday 2^nd

Group Walk

Destination: Sherwood (again)
Weather: Awesome weather for December 2nd

Pack Members: Riley, Sweet Pea, Bobby, Chloe, Sydney, Molly, Tony, Prince, Tea Cup, Jax, Casey

Highlights:
- Today was Sydney’s first walk with the pack! She did so well, came when called, ran and wrestled with everyone, she had a blast
- Molly likes to keep everyone on their toes when she is around, she was extra bouncy today
- Chloe and Sweet pea were up to their usual tricks, well Sweet pea terrorized Chloe I guess is the proper term

- What can I say about Riley, Tony, Tea Cup they know how to have a good time

Thursday 3^rd

Group Walk

Destination: Cherry Beach
Weather: We got very lucky! No rain and was surprisingly lovely out

Pack Members: Riley, Sweet Pea, Bobby, Abby, Seamus, Sydney, Oscar, Jax, Casey

Highlights:
- I forgot my camera! It was a Kodak kind of day!!! Oh well next time
- Sydney had a blast on the beach with Abby, they totally hit it off, and she even jumped into the water
- Seamus was good and tired when we got into the van, he always looks so sleepy

- Everyone played so well together, we’ve got a great pack

Other Walks
- Casey and I hung out with Jaida playing with the other dogs in the park then doing a quick walk around the neighbourhood
- Henry took Belle out for an evening stroll
- Henry took Diva out for a bedtime pee break before calling it a day

Friday 4^th

Group Walk

Destination: Taylor Creek Park
Weather: Another perfect day full of sunshine and crisp temperatures

Pack Members: Riley, Bobby, Sydney, Pepper, Jessy, Tony, Tea Cup, Belle, Chloe, Jax, Casey

Highlights:
- We came up close and personal with a dead squirrel which half the dogs decided to roll in -- YUCK
- Everyone played so well running back and forth down the path trying to catch each other
- Little Sydney went for a full dip in the creek, so did Bobby he needed to try and get rid of the stench of dead squirrel
- Jessy toddled along behind the group watching the pack in action

- It was a fantastic day minus the smell ;-)

- Henry went for a stroll with Diva and Riley tagged along to get some fresh air
- I had a dinnertime pee break with Penny, NV and Nina, 3 dogs from my local dog park

Weekend 5^th, 6^th

Weekend Fun
- Saturday Molly came over for the evening and went home at bedtime
- Satuday Seamus came over for a slumber party
- The afternoon was great, chilly but great. We headed to High Park to run around for a bit. Seamus made lots of friends and Molly had fun running and bouncing around.
- Satuday evening Henry took Diva out for a stroll around the neighbourhood

- Sunday our old friend Scruffy checked into "Chateau Monteith" for a week of fun

It was a great week, talk to everyone on Monday
