Monday 25^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Rain, Rain and Mud!

Pack Members in Group 1: Sweet Pea, Tony, Tea Cup, Oscar, Jaida and Casey

Pack Members in Group 2: Riley, Jax, Lola, Sydney

Highlights:
- I started my walk earlier as we've picked up a couple new doggies for pee breaks in the afternoon so I moved our walk up. Henry arrived in the park at the regular time with his group so there was a bit of overlap
- It was muddy and miserable but we made the best of it. We spent the majority of our time down on the trails rather than in the park because it was more fun and slightly less muddy

- My group was very happy to see the other half arrive, when we left Henry's group was heading down on the trails for some fun and excitement

Other
- We had our first visit with Roxy and Emmi for an afternoon pee break, we'll be hanging out with them everyday following the group walk

Tuesday 26^th

Group # 1

Destination: Brickworks
Weather: Not too terrible of a day, cool so the mud was dried up

Pack Members: Lola, Chloe, Millie, Jaida, Tea Cup, Jessy and Casey

Highlights:
- Again today I started my walk earlier and with Henry's pick up schedule he ended up at a different park.
- We went for a walk along the trails which we had not done at this park in ages. It was nice to get a stroll in before hitting the off leash area.

- Once we got to the park and off leash everyone had a great time

Group # 2

Destination: Taylor Creek
Weather: same as above

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Seamus, Sydney, Pepper

Highlights:

- Henry said his group did tones of running and playing and had a fantastic time

Other
- Henry went out with Belle to play in the afternoon
- Bogart, Jaida and I went for a nice walk up Yonge Street in the afternoon, it was a nice way to end the day

Wednesday 27^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: REAlly REALLY REALLY COLD

Pack Members: Riley, Sweet Pea, Jax, Lola, Chloe, Prince, Sydney, Tony, Tea Cup, Jessy, Molly and Casey

Highlights:
- Today a puppy friend of ours Stirling met up with us at Sunnybrook for some fun and games

- We are in the middle of a terrible cold snap and it was freezing in the park today but the doggies made the best of it and had a good time playing and running around

Thursday 28^th

Group # 1

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: OMG so very cold

Pack Members: Lola, Chloe, Sydney, Abby, Jessy, Tea Cup, Jaida and Sweet Pea

Highlights:
- I was solo today so we had to split the dogs into 2 groups

- OMG it was SOOOOO cold today... enough already bring on summer

Group # 2

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: same as above

Pack Members: Seamus, Riley, Gizmo, Belle, Jax and Casey

Highlights:

- Despite the deep freeze we had a good time, just have to keep moving so your don't freeze to the ground

Other
- In the afternoon we had a pee break with Missy
- We met up with Bobby for a bedtime pee break and we went for a nice evening stroll

Friday 29^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: still COLD ahhhh bring on summmer

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Pepper, Tony, Jessy, Lola, Jaida, Sydney, Gizmo and Casey

Highlights:

- Today was Jaida's last day with Animal Adventures so we had a little party in the park! She was decked out in a princess dress and looking very adorable. We had treats and did lots of playing it was great. She will be missed

Weekend 30^th, 31^st

- Gizmo was over for a slumber party so we did lots of cuddling and staying warm inside

- Saturday night we had an outing with Molly and her Gizmo and a new friend Fry played for 45 min straight without taking a break! we had a great time in the cold

Week of January 18 - January 24 - WOW it's spring out there! What a tease ;-)

Monday 18^th

Group Walk

We split into two groups today for our main walk so we ended up at different parks.

Group # 1

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Very damp day and rather balmy

Pack Members: Bobby, Tony, Sweet Pea, Tea Cup, Chloe, Jaida and Casey

Highlights:
- The temperature has gone up so all the snow is melting so the park was back to being a little bit icy.
- We were in the park mixing and mingling for a while then headed down the trail to play in the leaves (that are now uncovered

- everyone was pretty chill, we had a good time but not a CRAZY time ;-)

Group # 2

Destination: Sherwood
Weather: same as above

Pack Members: Riley, Lola, Sydney, Oscar and Jax

Highlights:
- Henry played with the group

- The park was really quiet, they had a good time exploring

Other
- I had a pee break with Molly who was just fixed on Friday. She was eager to get going but she had to stay on leash and behave

Tuesday 19^th

Group Walk

Destination: Cherry Beach
Weather: Perfect winter day

Pack Members: Sydney, Pepper, Oscar, Riley, Casey, Sweet Pea, Bobby, Jaida, Chloe, Millie and Jax

Highlights:

- My mom was along for the walk today,she loved watching the kids play and enjoyed the sights and sounds of Cherry Beach

Other

- We had to bump Lola to a second walk so Henry and her spent the afternoon at Sunnybrook playing with the other dogs in the park. She had a great time playing with all the other big kids

Wednesday 20^th

Group Walk

Destination: Brickworks
Weather: Sunny and comfortable

Pack Members: Riley, Sweet Pea, Jax, Chloe, Sydney, Tony, Lola, Bobby, Prince, Tea Cup, Seamus, Belle and Casey

Highlights:

- All the snow was pretty much gone but luckily it wasn't muddy because the temperature was perfect to keep everything frozen. Otherwise we would have some dirty puppies

Weather: Cool but nice

Highlights:

- We had fun sniffing around the park and barking at the horses! We had a good time with our little group on this outing

Thursday 21^st

Group Walk

Destination: Cherry Beach
Weather: Windy and cool but nice

Pack Members: Sweet Pea, Bobby, Abby, Jaida, Tea Cup, Chloe, Lola, Sydney, Seamus, Jax, Riley and Casey

Highlights:

- Burrrr it was a windy and chilly day today but everyone proceeded to have a great time. The water is melting and has changed a lot even since Tuesday. It's hard to keep the doggies off the ice flow so they don't get into to much trouble and come away soaking wet ;-)

Friday 22^nd

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Sun shinny winter day

Highlights:

- We had a good time, it's been great this week because the temperatures have been around zero we haven't had to deal with much mud - Phew ;-)

- We got our wires crossed today so Lola didn't come on the main group walk, she went seperately on an outing to Riverdale park with Riley and Henry.

Weekend 23^rd, 24^th

We had a very quiet and relaxing weekend with no walks or outings. Talk to everyone next week.

Week of January 11 - January 17 - Burrrrrrrr Someone Turn on the Heater

Monday 11^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook... once again ;-)
Weather: Another perfect winter day

Pack Members: Bobby, Tony, Sweet Pea, Lola, Sydney, Riley, Tea Cup, Oscar, Jaida, Jax and Casey

Highlights:
- I forgot my camera today so we don't have any videos
- We played in the park as usual then headed down the trail to sniff and check things out

- We had a fun little group, Lola was the only big kid but she made friends with some other big dogs in the park and played with Sydney

Walk # 2

Destination: Brickworks
Weather: Cold but ok

Pack Members: Riley, Bogart and Gizmo

Highlights:
- Henry took them out, they had to go to a fenced park because of Bogart (he is a runner)
- The three of them had a great time running around and playing with each other

- The park was quiet so they woke it up being crazy!

Other
- The kids went home after a fun and relaxing weekend at Club Ness. I love having them around and I'll miss their tiny puppy kisses - but not the stinky puppy breath YUCK - I kid, I kid

Tuesday 12^th

Group Walk

Destination: Brickworks
Weather: Sun shinny chilly - perfect winter day

Pack Members: Sydney, Seamus, Lola, Pepper, Oscar, Riley, Casey, Sweet Pea, Bobby, Jaida, Chloe, Millie and Jax

Highlights:
- This was our first time back at the brickworks since before xmas. It was a perfect day to head over there.
- We finally checked out the secondary fenced area at the back of the park. It was fun, lots to explore for everyone we will definitely go back in there again.

- Everyone had a great time running and playing our group is the best group in the park!

Wednesday 13^th

Group Walk

Destination: Cherry Beach
Weather: Windy and Cold but not terrible

Pack Members: Riley, Sweet Pea, Jax, Chloe, Sydney, Tony, Lola, Bobby and Tea Cup

Highlights:

- The water was frozen over and it was piled up like little glass blocks. Looked very cool and the kids had fun slipping and sliding on the ice

Thursday 14^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: PERFECT day at the park, sunny and warm

Pack Members: Riley, Sweet Pea, Jax, Chloe, Sydney, Tony, Lola, Bobby and Tea Cup

Highlights:
- The weather was really on our side today the kids had a great time running around and playing in the sun.

- We had a good group of puppies today and everyone got along great and did lots of running and wrestling.

Other
- I took Belle to Sunnybrook after we wrapped up with the group, we had a good time strolling down the trails then playing with the other dogs in the park. Still a perfect afternoon

- Next Casey and I picked up Bogart and we headed to our local park to visit and mingle before going on a nice stroll around the block. A perfect end to a perfect day

Friday 15^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather:

Pack Members: Bobby, Tony, Sweet Pea, Lola, Sydney, Riley, Tea Cup, Jax, Chloe, Pepper and Casey

Highlights:
- We had a special visitor with us today, our friend Marissa. She even got to walk a bunch of them back to the car after we were done. She did a great job
- The park was nice today but is going to be SOOOOO muddy next week as this nice weather continues

- We played in the park for a bit then headed back on the trails for everyone to run in the trees and play in the leaves (now that they are uncovered)

Weekend 16^th, 17^th

- We met with Bobby first thing Saturday morning for a pee break

- Belle and I hit Sunnybrook in the afternoon on Saturday to play for a bit. It was quiet but we had a good time

Week of January 4 - January 10 - Bring on 2010 we're looking for some fun

Monday 4^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Another cold winter day but a good day

Pack Members: Bobby, Tony, Belle, Sweet Pea, Lola, Sydney, Riley and Jax

Highlights:

- We had a small group but a fun group. It was our first day back at the grind and everyone was in fine form. The kids had all sorts of energy and we had a blast getting caught up

- Starting tomorrow, for 2010 I’m going to start taking videos of our activities and posting them on YouTube so that you can experience the crazy times we have on a daily basis. Check back frequently to see where we’ve been and what we’ve been up to.

Tuesday 5^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Cool and snowy but beautiful

Pack Members: Chloe, Jaida, Jessy, Millie, Oscar, Bobby, Sweet Pea, Pepper, Jax, Lola, Riley, Seamus, Sydney

Highlights:

- We had a fantastic outing today, the snow was falling from the trees and the sky and everyone was busy playing and running around to stay warm

- It was a cold but fantastic outing. Everyone was running and jumping and playing in the snow

Highlights:

- We had a nice little outing at the park today. Belle was in fine form and Casey enjoyed the fresh air after being sick for the last few days

Thursday 7^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook... again
Weather: Cool but comfortable – perfect actually

Highlights:
- We decided last minute to head back to Sunnybrook again rather than to Sherwood. Glad we made the decision it’s such was a great day in the park
- It was a really nice day, the weather was cold but pleasant

- Everyone had a great time running, wrestling and playing. The only downfall of the day was the big dead something down by river YUCK!!!!!

Friday 8^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook... last time for the week
Weather: COLD!!!!

Pack Members: Bobby, Sweet Pea, Millie, Sydney, Tony, Pepper, Riley, Belle and Jax

Highlights:
- We had some challenges with 2 big and annoying bull dogs! Once we headed down the trails we were able to get away from them and have fun without being pestered
- Everyone was in good spirits today but it was cold so they were ready to go home when it was home time

- Hopefully next week won’t be so chilly ;-) have a great weekend

Weekend 9^th, 10^th

Walks / Outings

- Millie and the kids were staying at my place this weekend so we did lots of bonding and cuddling trying to stay out of the cold
- Saturday we had an afternoon walk with Millie, Casey, Jaida and Belle. We headed to Sunnybrook. It was a bright sunny day but SOOOOO cold! We had fun, it was nice and relaxing
- We had a few pee breaks with Bobby over the weekend. He’s such a ham, always brings a smile to your face even at 9 AM

- Overall it was a nice relaxing weekend

Week of December 28 - January 3 - Happy New Year

Monday 28^th

Walks / Outings

- We had a nice day chilling with Bentley and Patches, Gizmo went home last night, I'm pretty sure he had a blast with us on his holiday
- Belle joined us on our evening outing to the park

Tuesday 29^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Cool and windy

Pack Members: Bobby, Tony, Sydney, Jaida, Chloe, Patches, Bentley and Casey

Highlights:
- Even though it was deathly cold with the wind chill it was fairly nice in the park
- Sydney was on fire! She was running around chasing and wrestling with everyone who crossed her path
- Tony was wearing balloon boots for the first time so it was funny to see him prancing around on tiny orange feet
- Jaida spent a lot of time wrestling with Sydney, she was in prime form today. Little Ms Flirty
- Little girl Chloe also was one of Sydney’s sparing partners but hung out with Casey to try and not get attacked
- Patches is doing so well, he comes when called, plays well with others and is just an all round good kid
- Bentley wasn’t feeling very well today so he hung out and watched everyone play

- Bobby was... well he was Bobby. The exciting part was that he was going for a hair cut after our play session. He’s going to be a handsome man

Other walks

- We got a call to take Riley out for an afternoon play session. We headed down to Cherry Beach where it was FREEZING but we had a great time. He was in fine form and was so super playful it was great to watch him having fun.

Wednesday 30^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Colder then yesterday!

Pack Members: Bobby, Riley, Sydney, Chloe, Patches and Casey

Highlights:
- We’ve been staying close to home this week so it was another day at Sunnybrook. The park is much better this week much less ice!
- Sydney again was on fire! I love to watch her play it is just pure comedy
- Riley was so happy to see his friends. He was attacked by Sydney in the van she gave him a piece of his own medicine
- Everyone loves Chloe, she is so super cute in her little coat, the other dog walkers just eat her up
- It didn’t matter that Bobby had a new hair cut, he still kept getting his ball stolen by the other dogs
- Patches has a twin at the park, I kept calling the wrong dog and almost left with the other one on leash before I realized he was standing beside me wondering what in the world I was doing
- Bentley stayed home today because he was really not feeling well. I ended up taking him to the vet in the afternoon and he is going to be staying for a couple days. Poor little guy

- Little Casey had cold feet towards the end of the outing so she got to snuggle with me for the last little while. I love me little snuggle bug.

Other walks

- We’ve got a final outing with Bobby this evening to take him for a good run before bedtime

Thursday 31^st

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Rainy and rather dismal day

Pack Members: Bobby, Riley, Chloe, Patches, Belle, Tony and Casey

Highlights:
- It’s New Years Eve! We got an early start today so we could get wrapped up in good time
- It was a rather dismal day so everyone was active but not necessarily happy to be out in the elements
- Riley was a bundle of energy again today, he was running around chasing other dogs and having a great time
- Bobby was... well he was ball crazy as usual
- Belle played with some of the bigger dogs in the park and had a good time getting back out and about
- Chloe and Tony stayed close to me, they both played for a bit but were chilly so they didn’t stray too far
- Patches is at the point that he wants to venture out of the off leash park but i’m not going to buy into it, I’m pretty sure he’s going to run off exploring and that is just not a good thing

- Casey was a mamma’s girl wanted to get up and cuddle and get out of the cold

Week of December 21 - December 27 - Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays

Monday 21^st

Group Walk

Destination: Sherwood
Weather: Cool and sunny

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Tony, Belle, Sydney, Molly, Lola and Casey

Highlights:
- It was still icy at Sherwood, we went into the park off Blythewood and slip and slided until we got into the trees. Once in the off leash area it wasn’t as terrible but it’s still not fantastic
- Everyone had a great time running around chasing each other and behaved themselves which was great

- We had fun and everyone was good and tired when it was time to go home

Tuesday 22^nd

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Ok day, nice weather

Pack Members: Jax, Bobby, Lola, Bobby, Sydney, Chloe, Millie and a new friend Bentley who is staying with us for the holidays

Highlights:
- Casey and Riley stayed home to hang out while we took the others out
- The park was still really icy so we spent our time moving from "island to island" aka grassy spots by the trees
- Chloe and Mille wrestled and played the entire time, they had a blast
- Lola had fun running around chasing dogs from other packs
- Sydney the social butterfly and mixed and mingled with everyone she ran into
- Seamus was pushing the limits by mixing with some of the bigger dogs and trying to mark his territory, we had to make sure he didn’t step over the line but overall he was a good boy

- Bentley had so much fun playing with another bulldog named Georgia (it was her first day too)

Other Walks

- Molly was at the groomer so Riley, Casey and I went to pick her up and went for a stroll around the Avenue and Lawrence area. She looked great with her hair cut but was not happy about the bow

Wednesday 23^rd

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook
Weather: Cold but not too bad

Pack Members: Riley, Bobby, Tony, Belle, Chloe, Sydney, Prince, Bentley and Casey

Highlights:
- Last major walk day before Christmas break
- Again we moved from “island to island” trying to keep everyone moving but safe
- We had a great play date and everyone was good and tired when we wrapped up

- It’s hard to believe that we won’t be seeing everyone for the next couple weeks

Other Walks

- We ended our day with the first of many cat sitting visits over the holidays. We got to hang out with Rusty and Boo for a nice evening visit.

Thursday 24^th

Walks / Outings

- We had one walk with Bobby today
- Good morning and good evening visits with Rusty and Boo
- Good morning visit with George and Petunia two more cat friends
- Gizmo, Bentley, Casey and I headed home for Christmas Eve

Friday 25^th

Walks / Outings

- Good morning and good evening visits with Rusty and Boo
- Good morning visit with George and Petunia
- Gizmo, Bentley, Casey and I headed back to Toronto

Weekend 26^th, 27^th

Walks / Outings

- On Boxing Day a new friend Patches came to visit until after New Years
- More good morning and good evening visits with Rusty and Boo
- More good morning visits with George and Petunia
- Gizmo, Bentley, Casey and I chilled out and enjoyed the weekend
- We took Belle out for a walk while her mommy was working
- Overall it was a nice but busy holiday

Week of December 14 - December 20 - Christmas is in the air and the snow is coming

Monday 14^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sherwood
Weather: Drizzle, Rain, Cool all round fun

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Tony, Sweet Pea, Belle, Tea Cup, Jaida, Lola and Casey

Highlights:

- Ugh what a wonderful day to be a dog walker ;-) we had fun regardless

- We met a husky named Quinn and everyone had fun playing with him, Lola and Belle liked having a big kid to chase around

- After slipping and sliding around the park we packed up and headed home to dry off

Other Walks

- We went on an evening stroll with Diva, it had stopped raining and it was a fairly nice evening

Tuesday 15^th

Group Walk

Destination:Cherry Beach
Weather: Cool but it was a nice afternoon

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Pepper, Sweet Pea, Sydney, Seamus, Chloe, Millie, Jaida, Lola and Casey

Highlights:
- What a perfect day! And a great group
- Sydney, Chloe, Millie, Jaida and Riley had a blast running and chasing each other
- Sweet Pea and Jax jumped in on the various groups barking, chasing and playing with the others as they run circles around the group

- Lola, Pepper and Bobby chased balls and played fetch

Other Walks

- Bogart, Jaida, Casey and I had a nice stroll around the neighbourhood enjoying the evening

The Passing of a Friend and Pack Member

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of the lovely and talented Diva. She passed away this afternoon at the age of 16 years young.

This picture was taken on a beautiful fall afternoon at Sherwood Park where Diva was running and bouncing like a puppy!

She was a fantastic dog and she will be greatly missed. The pack will not be the same without you.

Wednesday 16^th

Group Walk

Destination: Sunnybrook... for 5 minutes then off to Cherry Beach
Weather: It was a nice sunny day but windy and COLD

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Tony, Sydney, Sweet Pea, Belle, Tea Cup, Jaida, Lola, Chloe, Prince and Casey

Highlights:
- Sunnybrook was a sheet of ice so we pee’d and poo’d then packed up and headed to Cherry Beach to have some real fun
- The pups didn’t feel the wind everyone was running around, chasing each other and enjoying the day
- Riley and Jaida rolled around and wrestled the entire time
- Belle and Lola actually went in the water... are they crazy!!!
- Sweet Pea spent a bunch of time barking at other groups... keep your distance she told them
- Jax has decided to Riley is her arch enemy, she likes to follow him around and bark at him when he’s not paying attention – she’s funny!
- Prince had cold feet so he strolled around with me and watched everyone else run around like crazy people
- Tony, Tea Cup, Chloe and Casey mixed and mingled and had a super fun time

- Sydney made the rounds playing with each dog, she doesn’t play favourites

Thursday 17^th

Group Walk

Destination: Another trek to Cherry Beach
Weather: It was a nice day... if you’re a polar bear

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Sydney, Sweet Pea, Belle, Jaida, Lola, Chloe, Jessy, Seamus and Casey

Highlights:
- No matter how cold it is the kids keep jumping in the lake... are they crazy!!! That would be Lola, Belle, Seamus and Bobby... crazy kids
- Riley, Jaida, Chloe, Sydney had a blast running and wrestling
- Sweet Pea always starts to get into it once it’s time to leave, trying to get everyone hitched up and she’s chasing Chloe around barking like crazy. Silly girl

- Jessy was really chilly so she toddled around and spent time with me keeping warm

Friday 18^th

Group Walk

Destination: Our favourite location... again... Cherry Beach
Weather: It was a really cold day

Pack Members: Riley, Jax, Bobby, Tony, Sydney, Sweet Pea, Belle, Tea Cup, Pepper, Molly, Lola, Chloe and Casey

Highlights:
- Last day of the week, I’m glad it’s almost the weekend
- Nothing out of the ordinary more play play playing and run run running
- Tony and Riley have a great time together and like to cause a ruckus
- Molly went on a bit of a walk about... she didn’t get too far thank goodness – inquiring minds want to know what is on the other side of those bushes!
- Sydney and Molly are a good play match they are almost the same age and both crazy puppies ;-)
- Belle was a bit nutty today so she stuck with me on leash for half the session to keep her in check

- I love hanging at Cherry but hopefully after the holidays the other parks will be less icy so we can start to move around again... variety is the spice of life

- We picked up the kids for weekend slumber party

Weekend 19^th, 20^th

Weekend Walks

- We took it easy this weekend and spent lots of time cuddling with the kids and visiting their kitties for din din
- We had a couple pee breaks with Bobby throughout the weekend, he’s such a card that guy always makes me lough
- We spent some time with Belle taking her out for a pee break
- We had an outing with Gizmo on Sunday afternoon
